About Wildcatter Productions

"A nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse."

As storytellers for hire, our objective is to inspire people to embrace your message even if they are predisposed to ignore it.   We must persuade them to remove their blinders and be receptive to your vision.  The first step in achieving this goal is identifying the specific target audience for your message.  Then we can craft a single video or an entire social media campaign that speaks directly to that audience and delivers your message across all broadcast and social media platforms.

A partial list of clients that we have enjoyed working for includes: NASA’s Lunar & Planetary Institute – Macmillan Publishing (Oxford, England) – Discovery Education – UT-Health Science Center – Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo – The Heritage Society; many Fortune 500 Companies like Chevron – Noble – Maersk – Transocean, and dozens of local and regional businesses of every kind.

Michael Daleo
Founder

Michael Daleo of Wildcatter Productions

I have over twenty years of experience in the video production industry as a Writer, Producer, Director and DP/Camera Operator. I started out creating educational programing for children on subjects such as English grammar, body image and self-esteem, and environmental conservation. My portfolio of award winning, educational programing is nationally distributed by Discovery Education.

Other work experience includes the broadcast television series “Postcards from Texas” (DP/segment producer), Red Steagall’s “In the Bunk House” (DP cooking segments/studio director), and more than two dozen broadcast television commercials.

A steady diet of corporate, industrial, and training video projects has provided me with the opportunity to ply my craft for some of the world’s biggest companies such as Noble Energy, Transocean, Atwood Oceanics, Sysco Foods, Marathon Oil, Omega Protein and many more.

From early 2016 through February of 2019, I worked with some of the most notable Texas Historians of our time as the staff Documentary Film Maker for The Heritage Society. We brought the stories of early Texas to life and distributed them through PBS, YouTube, and Social Media outlets.

I still love the business of story-telling and enjoy the collaborative process that is the hallmark of every good production.
